Improving art has nothing to do with changing you entire art style.
I must first apologize for any spelling-errors or grammar mistakes, my first language is Korean.
When people start attacking art styles and telling people to draw realism it makes me very sad. I visit art museums regularly and I love art of any form.
You can still improve your art style even if it is not “anatomically correct compared to an actual human-being” . Some things can still find it´s way back to realism. Such as light angles , shadows and even perspective.
Buying some books on perspective is always a good investment if you are serious about art.I have books on dogs even if I draw cartoon dogs. Because I want to know how the joints of a dog works.
When I see people who hate a certain style send post offensive comments on peoples art it really tears me up inside. People hate manga far to much, most just hate it because it is so popular. And it is never OK to hate something just because it is popular. It just feels immature to me.
But I have to agree with one thing, do not limit yourself to drawing one thing. If you like to draw pony´s , cats , manga . Try to draw some flowers , work on the background and details on the clothes. Really explore your own abilities when it comes to art.
Art styles is kinda like flowers my teacher always said, and he said this :
“Misshaped and odd, thus some look the same but come in many colors. It is a flower, nonetheless.” - * Translated it from Korean, hope it seems ok.

It’s celebrity rpf (Apocalypse AU) and whatever, the beginning of the movie is sort of fun, with a lot of cameos and celebrities running around partying.
So I see the flailing and sadness of the little fandom that could and I think… hm, what can I do to make it better? And maybe this isn’t new, and maybe everyone has seen this a million times, but maybe it’s like a favorite, oh, stuffed toy - something that could offer a little big of a smile when sadness and feels abound. So, without further adieu - once again, I’m Your Teddy Bear is up for a little bit of joy spreading.
I KNOW THIS IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER BUT ALL I SEE IS HELENA HOLDING MYKA AFTER FINDING OUT ABOUT THE CANCER, And Helena is terrified and overwhelmed both by the news and having myka so close, but myka-she hasn’t been sleeping well for ages- and it feels so good to let go. to be held, and just before myka drifts off she remembers that it was Sam that last held her like this…and that she’s glad she’s thankful that it’s…, her that’s sick and not helena because while the cancer may be the end of her…losing Helena definitely would be.
